Veteran's Day

Today, we had a wonderful chapel at seminary in honor of Veteran's Day.
The color guard was firefighters, and then we sang the Star Spangled Banner and Taps was played.
Then we had a great talk on helping our veterans.
To whom we owe so much.
Think about it....what about those brave soldiers, who despite much dissension about fighting against the mother country, England, fought a desperate and almost unwinnable war for our freedom? What if they had said--oh, well?
Then, we fought a war amonst ourselves, to right a grievous wrong in slavery.
In the last century, we fought against despotic, totalitarian, and yes--evil---governments to free Europe and Asia.
Now, we fight against terrorist groups who have killed Americans, even on American soil.
