Isn't it wonderful that the anniversary of the Berlin Wall falling is so near to our own Veteran's Day?
Yes! After all, the United States is supposed to stand for freedom and liberty--those principles upon which it was founded.
But it's way too bad that President Obama chose not to attend the 20th anniversary of the fall. He was invited to attend--but the White House decided "No".
Apparently, with the missile defense system for Poland and the Czech Republic nixed, and the wishy-washiness of making decisions on Afghanistan, It Just Wouldn't Look Good.
President Obama stated he was too busy to go to Berlin. So what did he do on Monday?
He was interviewed by ABC, had his daily briefings, went by a reception for the United Jewish Communities, and met with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
He did send a video, mentioning that "their (Germany's) American ally would be led by a man of African descent," but forgetting to mention President Reagan.
