Morning briefing and a meeting with national security team. Afternoon, he flies to Florida to speak to service men and women, then speaks at fundraiser.
Tuesday, October 27th:
In Florida, Mr. Obama speaks at National Press Club, tours a solar energy center, then travels to Virginia to campaign for Deeds.
Wednesday, October 28th:
Back in Washington: Lots of briefings and meetings, a tree planting and an event celebrating Hate Crimes Bill passage
Thursday, October 29th:
Mr. Obama visits Dover Air Base to honor 18 soldiers killed in Afghanistan (1 of 18 families agree to talk to him), then returns to DC and makes speech on helping small businesses, has meetings with government officials, and then meets with representatives of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, Congressional Black Caucus, Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus
Friday, October 30th:
Briefings, meeting with Joint Chiefs of Staff on Afghanistan (finally!)
Saturday, October 31st:
Halloween
