Another reason to question Speaker Pelosi's bill:
We still have a health care czar--well, commissioner--who essentially will run the health care in our country.
Both private insurance companies (just in case you wanted non-government run health insurance--don't worry, there won't be any such animal) and the new government run plan.
This person is magnanimously called the Health Choices Commissioner, and would be appointed by--who else?--the President.
Not by Congress, not by voters....we, the people, would get no say in who this person might be.
The czar's powers?
**To negotiate rates for doctors and hospitals.
**To oversee both government and private health care companies, by establishing coverage and by enforcing these standards
**Can collect whatever data he or she desires
**Collect fines
**Determine the terms of health care policies
**Monitor health care complaints

Do we really want the federal government to have basically unlimited power over our health care?
And, is this constitutional?
