I'm pulling for Hoffman

Very leftwing Republican candidate DeDe Scozzafava, running in the New York 23rd District special state congressional elections, has dropped out of the race. She, BTW, is the proud winner of Margaret Sanger award from Planned Parenthood (for her support of abortion) and supporter of stimulus spending.
The Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman (who really is conservative, not just playing conservative) now appears to be leading the race.
The Republican Party and the Democratic Party can both worry about conservative candidates, but the deal is, the voters want fiscally conservative candidates.
To the Republican Party--The voters don't want far-left liberals running. We have enough of those! And no wishy-washy so-called moderates who have no backbone and just want to spend, spend, spend!

To the Democratic Party--ditto.
The voters aren't going to go for crazy rightwing kooks either--but fiscal conservatives who believe in protecting their country and don't believe in big government are not kooks.
These big-wig folks better listen up.
