About two months ago, the Commerce Department praised the 3.5 percent growth in GDP.
Then, the numbers got revised--downward. To 2.8 %.
Still, said the White House, things are okay!
Well, now the numbers have been revised AGAIN!!
Oops, wrong way, they went down....to 2.2%.
This indicates the economy is not growing so very well. Especially since Cash-for-Clunkers and home-buying tax breaks are estimated to account for at least one-half the growth numbers.
Which leaves the economic growth at....
TA-DA!!! Drum roll and all that!!!....at most 0.7%.
