Democrats Cut Out Medicare Help to Homebound Seniors

On top of cutting Medicare by half a trillion dollars, Senate Democrats have now voted to cut home care for invalid senior citizens.
Home care will be cut by 43 billion dollars. This money will go to pay for health insurance for the uninsured.
Senator Baucus, D-Montana, states that this will cut out fraud and overpayment, and that savings will go back to Medicare.
Wrong.
This money will go to Medicaid in order to pay for the uninsured--the money will leave the Medicare program entirely.
And how do you overpay home health care providers who are barely surviving on Medicare rates?
Mr. Baucus stated, “Nobody here is trying to throw seniors under the bus.”
