Huh?
I thought that the terrorist DID stay in his seat. From all reports, he was so gorked out (on drugs, perhaps?) that he didn't even react to third-degree burns.
Maybe this is to counter such brave people as Dutch citizen Jasper Schuringa who leapt out of his seat to wrest the explosive device from the terrorist.
