No long-range missiles for Poland and Czechoslavia

There's just too much to keep up with this week!!

But here's a bit of information about President Obama's new missile policy in Europe.
Basically, President Bush (the most recent one) had begun a plan for missile interceptors that would be placed in Poland and Czechoslavia to defend both Europe and the US from medium and long range missile attack. These defenses were to counter threats from North Koran and Iran.
Basically, Vice-President Joe Biden states that Iran is not really a threat to the US, according to CNN-
But others feel that this will be a big hole in our defenses-
and....our allies in Czechoslavia and Poland aren't really too happy, either. They had been counting on this as part of their overall defense plan.
What does President Obama support? He proposes a system of short and medium range missile defenses, stating that they will be better and cheaper.
Why? It could be that Mr. Obama is appealing to Russian concerns. Or that he is working toward disarmament with belligerent countries--but he has no assurances from others, and no missile defense to back it up.
The Senate has appealed to Mr. Obama to keep up missile defense--perhaps he should listen.
