The War on Terrorism is Over

I surely hope that the Administration told the terrorists.
(PS My DH is asking "Who won?")
On a more serious note, the White House has stated that "war on terror", "jihadist", and "global war" will no longer be used. Seriously.
We are now at war with al-Qaeda. The policies of the former Administration are no longer being used (except, of course, for certain espionage programs, attacks against Pakistan, the war in Afghanistan, increasing troops in the Middle East, etc, etc--but seriously, of course, perhaps these aren't exactly like Bush's policies). There's also some vague mutterings about aid to foreign powers to help with their democratic institutions (nothing, surely, similar to previous programs). I mean, seriously!
