Town Hall Meetings

DH, DS and I went to two town hall meetings this past week.

Here's a few of the "angry mob".

And some more "right-wing extremists".

First, we attended Mr. Pete Sessions' get-together (our DS's representative),

then Mr. Joe Barton's (our representative).

It was very interesting!

Most folks had good questions. Only a very few just stood up to "speak their piece" or were otherwise rude.

What I noticed is that most folks were requesting help for their specific situation. And they wanted government-issued (and controlled) insurance to fix their problems.

Both Mr. Sessions and Mr. Barton responded that their difficulties needed to be addressed, but not by forcing a government system of health care on everyone.
