And more free speech!

As in the internet.
A great source of free speech! See, we're engaging in it right now! I say what I think, and you can talk (well, email or whatever) back.
Senate Bill 773, also known as the Cyberspace Security Act of 2009, was drafted by Senator Rockerfeller (D-WV) and is currently in committee. It proposes to protect our national security interests in the internet field.
Sounds okay so far.
But what else does this Bill propose? The President will designate those "state, local, and nongovernmental systems and networks" that are crucial to national security, and can shut them down on his own say-so.
Perhaps the boundaries of our free speech rights and the President's say-so should be a teensy bit more delineated. As well as the President's say-so over private industry.
