An intriguing Russian editorial

This article was written by a Russian young man and was published by Pravda RU, a Russian newspaper. However, I will direct you to his blog, instead of the newspaper, due to the salacious nature of some of the advertisements on the newspaper webpage.

  1. Fantastic article!!! It is amazing to read what the world press has to say about President Obama and his agenda - vs - what the sycophantic American press writes and says.

We are repeating history and most Americans are drinking Kool-Aid!!

  2. Yes, he is right! After spending the last three years researching Russian history for my novels, I came to the startling conclusion last fall '08 that Americans are in the same situation as Russia was at the end of the 19th Century in a lot of ways.
Whenever the people grow complacent about their God, His Word, and their freedoms within His protectorate, BIG business and BIG government both move in with their respective greeds - the people are consumed in it all. Once their God was taken away via the Soviet Union years, wise Russian learned to appreciate what we as Americans now take for granted too. Yes, it all comes back to Jesus, doesn't it.

  3. Isn't it sad that our leaders did not learn from Russia's history, and therefore are now going to repeat it?

I guess we will learn, too, won't we? Remember how many times Israel turned away from God, but He was faithful to deliver them time and again?

That is my comfort these days. :)
